We’re thrilled to be offering our first ever Early-Spring Citrus Share, to bring the best-of-season citrus straight to your kitchen for four weeks this spring.
Enjoy specialty varieties of juicy oranges, sweet mandarins, succulent grapefruits and more, to add a zing and a zest to your early-spring menu.
Your weekly Citrus Share will be packed in a third-bushel box (same sized box as our Small Vegetable Share), weighing approximately 10 lbs. Here's an example of what one week's share may contain: 3 white grapefruits, 3 sumo oranges, 5 cara cara navels, 6 mandarins, 2 blood oranges**, 6 kumquats, 1 lime, 1 meyer lemon.
To source your citrus we're working closely with Specialty Foods Boston, from whom we've been sourcing citrus for many years at our farmstores. Specialty is known as the premier produce distributor for Boston's top chefs, and they will be sourcing your citrus exclusively from orchards in California whom they know and trust.
