Schedule Options

WEEKLY = 10 weeks in a row

FLEX = 5 weeks of your choosing

Home delivery is an additional $10/week/share.

Your weekly Corn & Fruit Share will be a half-bushel box (same size box as our Classic Vegetable Shares) and will be approximately two-thirds full of local sweet corn (8 to 10 ears on average, depending on size) topped with a seasonal, simple selection of tree fruits from our favorite local orchards including Brookdale Fruit Farm and Carlson Orchards. Your fruit selection will showcase New England favorites such as yellow peaches*, white peaches*, nectarines*, pears, a variety of early autumn apples, and if we're lucky, some delicious local table grapes!

We source your corn from our neighbors just down the road at Verrill Farm. Steve and Joan Verrill, who are now in their eighties, run their 200-acre farm with their daughter Jennifer and operate one of the most impressive farm stands in Massachusetts.  They are truly mentors, as well as neighbors. Verrill’s sweet corn has long been known as the best around, and we feel so lucky to be able to share it with you.

*Important Note about 2023 Regionwide Stone Fruit Crop Failure

Due to unusually warm winter temps in Dec. and Jan., followed by a severe cold snap in early Feb., most orchards from the Hudson Valley eastward have lost their entire stone fruit crop for this season from blossom damage. Impacted crops include peaches, nectarines, apricots, and plums. Our hearts go out to all of our local orchardists who are bearing the brunt of this crop loss.

In response to this ecological event, we have decided to grow several delicious melon varieties this season to include in our Corn & Fruit Share, in lieu of stone fruit. Think cantaloupes, canary melons, and mini watermelons... yum! We will dearly miss our beloved local stone fruit this year, but look forward to sharing some new flavors and crop diversity with you.
