Designed by members of our farm crew from Colombia, our new Winter Tropical Fruit Share will showcase the delicious fruits they grew up eating this time of year.
You’ll receive a weekly selection of tropical fruits including familiar favorites like pineapple, papaya, mango, kiwi, passion fruit, guava, plantains, and baby bananas – plus specialty varieties such as tomate de árbol, granadilla, zapote, mamoncillo, and cherimoya. In our weekly CSA newsletter, we'll share tips and recipes from the crew (our resident experts!) on how they like to prepare and enjoy these fruits.
Your Winter Tropical Fruit Share will be packed in a third-bushel box (same-sized box as our Small Vegetable Share), weighing approximately 8 lbs. Here's an example of what one week's share may contain: 1 white coconut, 2 dragon fruit, 1 mini papaya, 2 white guavas, 5 kiwis, 5 tomates de árbol, 1 bunch baby bananas.
To source your fruit we're working closely with Specialty Foods Boston, the premier produce distributor for Boston's top chefs. They will be sourcing your tropical fruit from Central and South American farms as well as domestically.
Week of Nov. 30, 2026 through week of March 1, 2027, with a holiday break the weeks of Dec. 21 and 28.
