Gobble Box FAQ

Reserve a large, full-bushel box of our autumn vegetables & local fruits for your 2024 Thanksgiving feast!  

Gobble Boxes are available for pickup and home delivery through our regular CSA distribution network the week before Thanksgiving this year (week of Nov. 18, 2024). This is a gap week for our regular CSA boxes, after the conclusion of our Autumn Shares the previous week. (Our Winter Shares begin the week after Thanksgiving — the week of Dec. 2, 2024.)

Orders must be placed by end-of-day Sunday, November 10th.
Delivery Information
Gobble Boxes will be available for pickup and home delivery through our regular CSA distribution network in Massachusetts. For NYC CSA Members: this year we are not able to deliver Gobble Boxes to NYC, but we'll try for next year! You can find a full list of available MA pickup locations, as well as our home delivery range here. As you are browsing, please note that we will be following the "Autumn" CSA distribution schedule for our Gobble Boxes this year. Home delivery is an additional $10 per Gobble Box, same as our regular farm shares.
Sofra Pies
We are not taking orders for Sofra Thanksgiving Pies with our Gobble Boxes this year, but fear not! Pies are available for ordering directly through Sofra's website for store pickup at (the brand new!) Sofra Allston,

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we also invite you to consider purchasing a Community Sponsored Gobble Box at a 10% discount for a family in our local community facing food insecurity this holiday season, distributed through the YMCA of Greater Boston.
What's included in your 2024 Gobble Box?

As a reference for our CSA members, please note that your full-bushel Gobble Box will be twice the size (and weight!) of a Classic Vegetable Share box. The approximate quantities of each item are listed below to assist with planning and sourcing for your holiday feast. These quantities are subject to a little variation based on availability, but the items on this list will be exactly what you receive in your 2024 Gobble Box. You will also receive a special Thankgiving e-newsletter from the farm, chock-full of seasonal recipes!

  • 8 lbs. gold potatoes
  • 3 lbs. sweet potatoes
  • 2 lbs. orange bolero carrots
  • 1 lb. leeks
  • 1 large green cabbage
  • 1 lb. kale
  • 1 large butternut squash
  • 5 lbs. local baking apples
  • 2 lbs. local fresh cranberries
  • 2 lbs. Brussels sprouts
  • 2 lbs. winter rainbow radishes
  • 2 lbs. yellow onions
